Counselling and assessments delivered with expertise, compassion, and genuine care for your healing journey.
Individual counselling provides a space to pause, reflect, and work through the challenges you're facing. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, neurodiversity, or simply feeling overwhelmed, counselling can help you better understand yourself, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward the life you want to create.
Together, we'll identify your goals and build on your strengths in a way that feels practical, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs.
I am committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that honours your strengths, experiences, and goals.
Cast Clinical Services offers individual therapy virtually, by telephone, or in person, making quality care accessible from anywhere in Ontario.
Book a SessionSessions are typically 60 minutes, with extended appointments available when clinically appropriate. Some people benefit from just a few sessions, while others choose longer-term support. Together, we'll determine an approach that aligns with your goals, preferences, and circumstances.
There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before your first appointment. We'll start where you are.
I have completed approved EMDR training, am a member of EMDRIA (the EMDR International Association), and incorporate EMDR into my practice when it aligns with a client's goals and readiness. Together, we'll determine whether EMDR is an appropriate fit for your needs.
EMDR isn't the right approach for everyone, and that's okay. During our initial conversations, we'll explore your goals, history, and readiness to determine whether EMDR is a good fit for you. There is no pressure to move faster than feels comfortable.
EMDR is a well-researched psychotherapy designed to help people process difficult experiences and reduce the distress associated with them. Rather than repeatedly reliving painful memories, EMDR supports the brain's natural ability to heal, helping many people move forward with greater ease and resilience.
Ask About EMDRVirtual counselling may be a good fit for:
I use Doxy.me, a secure platform designed specifically for healthcare appointments. You'll use the same link and password for each session, making it easy to access appointments from your phone, tablet, or computer.
If you're feeling unsure about the technology, we can arrange a brief test session beforehand so you can become comfortable with the platform and know exactly what to expect.
Virtual counselling offers flexibility, accessibility, and privacy without compromising the quality of care. For many people, it makes it easier to prioritize their mental health while balancing the realities of everyday life.
Whether you're managing work and family responsibilities, living in a rural or remote community, navigating physical or mental health challenges, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space, virtual counselling can be an excellent option.
Many people find that meeting virtually allows them to attend sessions more consistently. It eliminates travel time, makes it easier to fit appointments into busy schedules, and provides access to therapists who may not be available within their local community. For some, it also offers a greater sense of privacy and comfort, making it easier to open up and engage in the counselling process.
At CAST Clinical Services, sessions are designed to meet you where you are. All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer and a private space where you feel comfortable talking. Together, we'll determine the approach that best fits your needs and circumstances.
Book a Virtual SessionThe people who care for others often carry the heaviest load. Cast Clinical Services offers confidential, one-on-one clinical consultation and professional support for workers and mental-health staff who are feeling the weight of their work.
Whether you are facing workplace stress, burnout, or the added pressures that came with COVID-19, these private sessions give you a steady, supportive space to talk things through, recover your footing, and feel re-energized in your role.
Book a ConsultationSessions are offered one-on-one in a confidential and supportive environment and are tailored to your individual needs and goals. Some people seek support during particularly difficult periods in their work or personal lives, while others use these sessions as an opportunity for ongoing reflection, professional growth, and self-care.
This is not workplace supervision or performance management. It is a space to process the emotional impact of helping work, explore challenging situations, strengthen coping strategies, and reconnect with the strengths and values that support you in the work you do.
Whether you meet once, periodically, or over a longer period of time, we'll work together to determine an approach that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.
Coverage depends on your individual plan, and we will do our utmost to help you find the appropriate funded program whenever possible. You're also welcome to contact your insurance provider, NIHB, or the Métis Nation of Ontario directly.
At CAST Clinical Services, Indigenous and Métis clients are deeply valued. I received my Master's degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in the Indigenous Field of Study, and I have walked with Elders, Teachers, knowledge keepers, and researchers who gifted me with knowledge and tools.
I respect and include traditional teachings when appropriate, and I meet each client where they are, working with their strengths, beliefs, and personal inclinations to support them toward healing.
